Vancouver
Vancouver is a city immersed in nature. It?s surrounded by bays and harbours such as the Burrard Inlet, Falso Creek, Coal Harbour and English Bay Beach. Vancouver is also near forests full of wildlife.
Stanley Park is one of the world?s largest urban parks and has carriage rides, cricket fields and rose gardens, spread out over 1,000 acres. The aquarium and zoo are also other natural attractions that are good places to take kids (or to just bring the inner child out in you). The zoo rests in 120 acres of parkland with about 800 animals contained inside. Since the area is incorporated in nature, in winter skiing and snowboarding are popular. Kayaking, whale watching, and visiting Victoria Island are other things that?ll keep you busy in Vancouver. Victoria Island is a nice escape from the city life of the central downtown area with Butchard Gardens and old charming brick homes. The Royal B.C. Museum is worth visiting, known as containing the first collection of art in the nation.
In the city of Vancouver, there are a variety of options. If you like to shop then Robson Street, with its artistic vibe, would be the place to go for chic boutiques and cafes. However, visiting the harbours and beaches that surround the city are also a good place to rest and check out the Capilano Suspension Bridge. A number of beaches surround the city, like the Spanish Banks, Jericho beach, Kitsilano Beach and the English Bay Beach. If you don?t want to shop or walk the beaches, there is the OMNIMAX film theatre which shows films on the world?s largest dome screen.
Vancouver offers a great mix of nature and urban life. The islands nearby are a good way to get out of the city, and the forests and parks nearby give some clean breathing space.

For food, there are a number of options. The first is the option of fresh seafood caught daily from the surrounding waters. You?ll find international food through out the city. However, there is also a Chinatown where one can get great Cantonese food. Some of the food Vancouver offers comes from the surrounding forests.
Where to party:
There is no lack of night life in this city. There are many bars and nightclubs scattered through out the city. Buffalo Club, Caprice Nightclub, Cellar Nightclub and AUBar are just some of the many bars and nightclubs offered in the city of Vancouver.
