The Formula One season consists of a series of races, known as Grands Prix, held on purpose-built circuits, and to a lesser extent, former public roads and closed city streets. The results of each race are combined to determine two annual World Championships. The 2010 Formula One Australian Gran Prixis host to the second race of the 2010 Formula 1 Championship, after the season opening race in Bahrain on 14th of March, 2010. Formula One, the highest class of auto racing has its roots in the European Grand Prix motor racing of the 1920s and 1930s. However, what we can see now is result of its long development. The total number of points won at each race are summed up together and the driver and constructor with the most points at the end of the season are officially called World Champions.
