Winter Olympics: 12-28 of February, 2010
The 21st Olympic Winter Games are fastly approaching. On the 12th of February, 2010 Vancouver will officially become a kingdom of winter sports 2010. The Olympics will last until the 28th of February, 2010. All the winter sports enthusiasts and fans will be pleased to hear that eighty-six winter sports events have been announced as part of the 2010 Winter Olympics. However, the life of Vancouver not only will turn around about the sports. Various ceremonies, cultural and educational events as well as colorful rage of celebrations will be organized all over the city.
Less than two weeks are left until the beginning of this spectacular winter event. The organizers of the games are encouraging the spectators to plan ahead with a slogan "Know Before You Go". Those, who have already booked the tickers are advised to read the rules and regulations of security at a venue in advance. In addition, the visitors of the Games should be aware of the tips that include what to wear, how to get there and what to bring.
The Olympic Winter Games are officially beginning with an opening ceremony that is scheduled to take place at Vancouver’s BC Place at 18.00. Early bird gets the worm, therefore, the guests are recommended to come as soon as possible. Therefore, a confusion could be avoided. Gates will open at 14:00 for the Opening Ceremony.This ceremony is special, because, first of all, for the first time in Olympic Games history the Olympic Ceremonies will be staged in the indoor venue. The whole event aims to honor the world’s greatest athletes and celebrate humanity in general.
