Paris, the city of history and beauty, has a lot to offer. The most significant event in France's history is the French Revolution in 1789 that made the country to be the center of art and sophistication. Liberté, égalité, fraternité (liberty, equality, brotherhood) are values we still cherish.
MUSEUMS. The legendary Musée du Louvre is one of the most important museums in the world. You can easily spend days admiring masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Jan Vermeer, Michelangelo, and so on. Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo draw crowd. Musée d'Orsay is another significant museum in Paris with its pieces of Manet, Monet, Renoir, van Gogh, and so on.
ARC DE TRIOMPHE. This famous arch is located on the Champs-Elysées with eternal flames beneath it.
ILE DE LA CITE. The ancient heart of Paris with well-known monuments. A Gothic masterpiece, Cathédrale Notre-Dame, is a absolut must-see in Paris. Sainte-Chapelle is a stunning jewel of the Middle-Ages with its awesome stained-glass windows. The Palais de Justice is also worth seeing as well as Conciergerie.
THE EIFFEL TOWER. The symbol of Paris has a lot to offer for a visitor: restaurants, ice-skating, incredible views over Paris.
PLACE DE LA CONCORDE. You will be amazed while arrive to this beautiful, beautiful square.
MONTMARTE. There are many places to visit in Montmarte, one of the must-sees is the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur. Some believe that in the crypt, there's a piece of the sacred heart of Christ.
PARKS & CEMETARY. One of the most impressive parks in whole Europe is Bois de Boulogne. It is bestly seen by foot. If you wanted to see some famous graves, you should go to Cemetière du Père-Lachaise - for example, Oscar Wilde, Delacroix, Edith Piaf are ones to been buried there. Jim Morrison's draws most people.
Also shopping, eating and visiting cabarets (especially Moulin Rouge) are highly recommended.
