The Davis Cup - a largest annual international team competition in sports - is the premier international team event in men's tennis. The history of the competition began in 1990 as a challenge between the United States and Great Britain. Nowadays, the Davis cup is considered to be a vital event that promotes the growth of tennis in general.
Reaction, pace and speed of movement get together in the game of tennis. Professionals describe tennis as a sport where perfection can never be achieved, though always strived for. The younger you start, the better your chances to succeed, as tennis is the game that requires a lot of energy and training. That's another reason why it is a pleasure to watch this game full of action. And another motive why this sport attracts so many fans.
The Davis Cup Final 2009 will be held in Barcelona between the 4th and 6th of December 2009. The thrilling match between two countries: Spain and Czech Republic is getting more and more attention as time goes by.
