White Night is an extravaganza of both the arts and cultural events which take place every September in Madrid. There are over 150 activities which make up the ten-hour event of Noche en Bianco, or the White Night. The city of Madrid is taken over by loud, live music, tons of lights, street theatre and more.

Parks, galleries and museums remain open all night long for special tours, projects and exhibitions. The White Night started in Paris in 2002 and has since spread to many other countries throughout the world, including Rome, Brussels, Bucharest and Riga, to name just a few.
