Big Easy in New Zealand

Wellington, the coolest little capital

New Zealand is one of the rare places, that won't allow you to be disappointed, there won't be bad surprises, as dirty hotels, bad roads or snakes, good luck spiders only! It seems like everything in this country is right in the place, just Big Easy on everything, not that kind of Easy as I Don't Care attitude, that kind of Easy, when every detail is thinked through and organized so you can just chill and relax while being in holidays. The country is pretty big, but with only 4.36 million New Zealanders scattered across 270.534 sq km, fulfilled with gorgeous scenery, forests, mountains, beaches and lakes , in few words a paradise on earth.

A huge role in New Zealand's history and culture plays,Maori culture, which is unique, dynamic and simply stunning, everyone knows the famous All Blacks, rugby team, they wouldn't become world beaters without their beloved heroes, Maori players. Rugby is a way of living in here, the passion seems to be the exact same as football for Latines. Maori came in this country 1000 years ago, from their mythical Polynesian homeland of Hawaiki, being proud with their own language, dance, songs and Maori tattooing.

It's hard to describe the capital of New Zealand, maybe because there have been three of them, first it was Russel, than it was Auckland and since 1865 Wellington has been the country's capital. It was also called the coolest little capital in the world. Wellington has a lot to offer, art house cinemas, designer boutiques, cozy coffee bars and live music rooms, it seems like Wellington has it all, to be the best capital it possible could be. Even if geographically Wellington is isolated, a very characteristic thing about this town is that seems like everyone is in some kind of band, or they just smoke and drink a way too much.

Once you will be enjoying this country, do not forget to taste their exquisite food, it's an essential and very needed ingredient to truly experience NZ. They are blessed and spoiled by being surrounded by the sea, fresh seafood and countless kiwi dishes will make your day! The best lamb that you have ever tasted you will find in New Zealand, straight from the world class farmers, a piping-hot roast lamb on a Sunday night is a kiwi staple, accompanied by fresh veg and excellent wine, cool-climate wineries have been collecting wine-award trophies for decades .Have your own kiwi experience in New Zealand!
