If you can't be content of fine beaches and welcoming people, Carriacou will throw you back in time, this forgotten, isolated isle is a relaxed affair, where eclectix village lifestyle is part of their life still nowadays, this isle is often forgotten to mention. You won't find cruise ships and fancy mentions or big resorts, it's another world, with West Indian life, exactly the same it was 50 years ago, amazingly quiet and relaxed.
If it's still not enough, and all you want is to shut down from civilization, head to Petit Martinique, small and charismatic, an ideal spot to get away from anyone and everything. Known for a steep of volcanic core, not leaving too much space for much else, locals prefer to walk rather than take a car running up to west coast. Take your time, enjoy the fresh seafood, straight from the fisherman boat taxi, find yourself on this lonely island.
