Party for 200.000 people, dont miss it!

If January all over the world is slow month to get back on the feet after all the celebrations and to start a fresh new one, full of joy and expectations, which is not easy at all, in Sydney is one of the best , the heat is on and countless celebrations are up, one of the mains is the Ferrython and fireworks in Australia day! There will be thousands of spectators gathering at the Harbour Bridge watching Sydney's First Fleet ferries battle for the Lord Mayor's Trophy, that will be spectacular fun!

There will be so many things to do, that you will find yourself in difficulty to choose, picnics, formal ceremonies and family entertainment are all on offer as part of the festivities on National Australia Day. So 26th of January be prepared for the best fireworks ever seen, Sydney won already with those ones from the New Year's...so pack your family and your picnic bag and be ready for range of entertainment , about 200.000 people will show up, so it's a pretty big deal, Australians are proud of who they are, so they celebrate big!

Maybe you will wonder why the fairy, but the race from from Circular Quay to Shark Island has now become a traditional part of Sydney Festival's Australia Day celebrations. If you are thinking which would be the best place to settle your family, friends and picnic baskets for the best view, here are some tips, the greatest vantage points are Shark Island, Fort Denison or the Harbour Bridge.

All the boats will be dressed and decorated, just to suit the celebratory Australia Day mood. Plenty of Australia's flags and afternoon the competition for the Best Dressed Ferry Award. Of course great music bands will perform, a tall ships parade around Cockle Bay, and an incredible display of lasers, lights and fireworks...Congrats Australia!
