The even have a special Snow Festival, the Fête des Neiges de Montréal, all held in the Parc Jean-Drapeau. So if you love snow and everything around it, pack your bags and go to Montreal and enjoy a real winter in all its colors.
The winter snow festival is a great opportunity to poke your head above ground. As in winter Montreal is covered under white snow blanket, it's a brilliant way to celebrate the white stuff in all splendour. There will be many activities going on, so bring along your friends, families and kids, you will no doubt have fun. The fun includes a competition for the world record for speed in ice sculpting, dog sledding circuits for children and professionally certified ice climbers, who teach the public how to scale ice towers .
La Fête des neiges will start on 21st of January lasting until the 5th of February, the Parc Jean-Drapeauinto will turn into a winter wonderland, if your kids have no idea what's snow, and you are willing to show them the best you can make out of it, this experience is the best you can give them. Featuring activities for kids big and small as well as for adults, proposing new features as well as old favourites, the admission to the grounds is free.
