New York truely has something for everyone!

New York is a vibrant and eclectic city with endless attractions and sites to see. With over one hundred buildings measuring over 500 feet, the City is defined by its unique skyline. The spectacle is best viewed from the observatory at the top of the Empire State Building, and is a particularly breathtaking sight at night time when the whole city lights up. The 'bright lights' theme is continued on visiting the famous Times Square, where animated advertisments and lights are seen on every building. The vibe is incredible, and it is in fact the only place in the world where it is a requirement that tenants must display bright signs on the buildings.

A short walk away is the famous Fifth Avenue, which is an essential visit for shopaholics as it is host to all sorts of designer fashion, department stores, and chain stores. The avenue also passes some of the most notable sights in the city, including the Empire State Building, the Rockerfeller Centre, and Central Park. En route is additionally the Guggenheim Museum, which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and is one of the twenty first century's most importabt landmarks. The museum offers exhibitions of modern and contemporary art by the most up to date artists across the world, such as Kandinsky and Julie Mehretu.

If visiting New York in the winter months, the perfect afternoon can be spent ice skating on Central Park. The picturesque setting is unbeatable, and it is great fun to slip and slide around the icy wonderland with a group of friends. Finish the evening with a warm hot chocolate in the outdoor cafe, followed by an evening in some of the coolest bars in the world.
