The first thing people think of when they hear Orlando is Walt Disney & Disneyland. Disney Land is full of fun adventures and rides. Don?t miss the hot air balloon ride, where you leave at sunrise soaring in the skies for an hour and afterwards travel to Angus Steak House for an early breakfast. If you do want to leave Disney land for a day or two, there are plenty of other things to do as well.

To deal with the summer heat, head to Sea World, Wet ?N Wild and Typhoon Lagoon - all are great places to cool off. At Sea World you can watch various animals and catch a whale show. Be warned - if you?re sitting up front, you will get soaking wet. At the Wet ?N Wild Park, there?s even a ride that twists around 300 feet and 6 stories high.

Golfing is an favourite pastime for Floridites. Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf is for fun and Hawks Landing Golf Club for more serious golfing. If your not one for golfing, then Gatorland and Everglades National Park can give you a sense of the Florida?s wildlife. In Gatorland, you can watch alligators from close up (don?t get to close!) ? and if this gets you hungry, then try some tasty fried alligator meat later! Gatorland also has a mini water park and petting pens of lambs and other soft creatures.

If you enjoy science and space the Kennedy Space Centre and Epcot Space are the places for you. At the Kennedy Space Centre you can learn about space, see launch areas, giant rockets, and space flight stimulators. Epcot Space is where you can learn about the possibilities of the future. There is also the Old Town for shopping and the Universal Studios Island of Adventure where their advanced technology makes for amazing rides. There are many attractions around Orlando that everyone can enjoy, from riding a water slide into a pool or watching the night sky from a bar or hot air balloon.

What to eat:
You must try alligator meat while you are staying in Florida. However there are other options as well which include European, Asian, Indian, American, and Mexican cuisine. There are bakeries, coffee houses, bars and pubs. Whatever your taste, you?ll be able to find it in Orlando. For health food, I would recommend Nature's Table Cafe which makes sure everything is fresh.

Where to party:
In the evening there is Arabian Nights, Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney Westside, or bars and clubs downtown. At Arabian Nights you watch more than 50 beautiful stallions jump through hoops and gallop around while eating a three course meal. Cirque du Soleil puts on an acrobatics performance with artists from around the world. O-Town and Downtown are the areas to check for bars and clubs.
